...which led to a music video directed by Maxime Giroux and produced by Daniel, widely aired on MuchMusic and its sister station, Quebec’s MusiquePlus. The single was also in rotation on several Ontario radio stations and a number of U.S. rock stations.
Daniel then launched into a field he enjoys as much as music: visual effects. Ten years in, he has covered the production spectrum, from TV ads to TV series and Game Cinematic hits to movies on the big screen. Here are just a few: Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D (Walden Media), Final Destination, Shorts (Robert Rodrigues), Fungus the Boogeyman (BBC), Meteor and The Mighty Monster Trucks, National Geographic, Oreal and more. Working as Technical Director and Pipeline Developer on Autodesk Softimage and Maya, Daniel is also fluent in Python, JScript and Mel programming languages.
Nothing if not curious, Daniel is also passionate about every aspect of Web design. It probably won’t come as a surprise that he developed this website. And in his spare time? Daniel likes guitar making. He’s presently building his own guitar, which you’ll hear in future productions
Zarbie Studio is the result of these passions and expertise. Set up as a philosophically original and multidisciplinary company, it is home to a recording and a graphic design studio. Meticulous and deeply involved, Daniel understands both the visual and musical artistic aspects behind each project.
